WRVS Luncheon Club

Canvey's WRVS (Womens Royal Voluntary Service) Luncheon Club has been in existance for 28 years.  First in the Baptist Hall in Baardwyck Avenue and the Sydervelt Centre then later a purpose built home in Poplar Road where it remains today. Joan Lock has been the Organiser/Project Manager since it first opened. 2008 saw her retirement due to ill health after serving the WRVS for over 30 years.

 Barbara Everett has taken over as Project Manager.
