We lived on Dovercliff Road from 1950 to 1957. The road was just grass at the time so we always used Seaview road on the other side of the house. Sometime around the flood of 1953 my dad and brother dug a very long trench by hand out to Seaview road to connect to the sewers.
I went to Leigh Beck School and played for a soccer team run by Sonny Heskith in the Tottenham boys system. We immigrated to Canada in 1957 when I was 12 years old.
