Abraham Bird, his wife Honora and family, Licensee of the Red Cow Pub from 1878 until his death in 1891.

I would say the three ladies are their daughter and two daughter-in-laws and the youngsters are some of the many grandchildren. The photo was likely taken not long before he died so around 1890/1. Cheerful looking lot aren’t they!

Again we have seen this photo before but just as a photocopy, this is an original print passed to us by Steve Cole and is therefore much clearer.
