1980 is without question the year of the Robert Brothers Circus, now contracted to the BBC to present their traditional holiday time circus, this firmly puts the Robert Brothers in the number one spot in British Circus. The 1980 tour brings a major two hour show featuring acts from around the globe along with Robert Brothers own world famous elephants, lions, tigers and Boxing Kangaroo ‘ Skippy’ this will be the most expensive and spectacular show touring this year.
The Robert Brothers circus is 38 years old this year, their name and reputation have been carefully built up over the years by the brothers themselves, Tommy and Bobby Snr. Their motto is “give them a big opening, a big finish and a big welcome.”
The country’s largest touring circus, Robert Brothers, has also been featured on ‘Saturday Night at the Mill’, BBC TV, Pete Murray’s Open House, Radio 2 and Tony Blackburn’s Radio 1 show, along with their own spectacular television circus transmitted on BBC television.
The Circus comes to Canvey from now to June 8 at Waterside Farm.
