i started work as a control room assistant on 3rd May 1970. I recall there was an early computer called an Elliot 1108. It was an exciting time and we eventually moved to the new control room at Hinckley in Leicestershire. The shift teams in the control room and the site were a great bunch of guys, particularly Geordie from Newcastle of course. Wish you all well.
