This photo has been sent to us by Jenny Skinner who found it in an old photo album belonging to her Nan and Granddad who lived in Chadwell Heath. Family day trip to Canvey in 1949 with a back drop of the Labworth Café taken from the land side.
Obviously before the floods and the new post 1953 wall. Today most of this part of the building is buried in the new seawall and the rest is on the seaside of the wall.
Not sure if we have any from this angle. Great photo.
