We would like to say a big thank you to Roberts Self Drive and St Katharines Lodge for the donations to buy the 10 acid free display books we needed to store and display the hundreds of photos from the Echo’s archive.
Not only will they be most helpful with storing and preserving the photos it now means we will be able to take some with us when we are in the library or exhibitions so others, who perhaps are not on the internet, can have a look and reminisce about Canvey through the years 1960s/1990s.
