This is one of the Echo photos but unfortunately it is not dated. Taken at the back of the pub and Harry Noakes is showing how close the flood waters in 1953 came to the pub.
You can see here photos from the pub taken of the surrounding area during the floods. As you will see the pub was surrounded.
