History Trail 2015

This is just a few of the photos taken around the Paddocks at the History Trail on Sunday. Lots more to come from other venues.

What a great day it was. The sun was shining all day. Canvey Islanders came out in their hundreds. They were queuing up to get into the museums. A café ran out of food. There was standing room only on some of the buses. We are waiting for the figures but the last we heard there had been well over 600 travelling on the buses and that was early afternoon.

We had people come from all over the country. One couple had come all the way from Birmingham.

We had photos and maps brought in. We made lots of new contacts. The day went very quickly. All comments we have heard have been positive.

Again we would like to thank everyone who came and helped or visited on the day.
