Here’s a photo from Leigh beck School. It must have been taken about 1947. The only person I know in it is my best friend, Denise Cunningham, the blonde in the front.
Can anyone help with names? Please comment below.

Blimey! This is 67 years ago and it doesn’t seem like yesterday. This is Miss Cross’s class at Leigh Beck and with your prompting Maureen I recognise Denise but my memory is so dim I wasn’t even sure of my own image. I think that’s me mid row 2nd fr left and sure that’s Susan Penny next to me, 3rd fr left, that could Audrey Rumpf at other end of that row ,far right. Top row, 3rd fr left I think is David Elmes and the little boy next to him I think is Terry Pierce. I’m sure there are quite a few other faces I recognise but can’t put a name to. Also I’m sure this is about only half the class as I’m certain there were nearly 40 of us.

I dont think its Dave or Terry, as Dave would have been two years older than Denise and Terry would have been one year older.
