Mrs Ivy Martin is the proud owner of a spacious replica Dutch Cottage, one of a pair, in Beechcroft Road. It’s 50 years old and has no corners so no evil spirits (the Dutch are superstitious). Now it’s up for sale. Ivy is a DIY expert and is to leave it all behind from the tasteful fitted kitchen and 1932 cooker to the crochet bedspread. (These were the notes written in 1985 and attached to the photo).
