Should have been a simple journey, but...............

This clip is a movie by the Claxton family not just taking pictures but a story they have put together. The film shows them all getting in the car with the dad and young child having to sit on the back bumper as there was no room. Once arriving at the Beach House they realise the passengers on the back were missing!

This is dramatic stuff and just look at the background with old Canvey houses passing by just fascinating. Not sure of date but all the clips have been taken during the mid 1930’s-1940’s era.
