Sketches by Richard Irons

These sketches were recently on display in the art exhibition in the Heritage Centre. No one seem to know who this Richard Irons was. Can anyone help?

The sketches are of the work that was done by Manpower to dredge and clean-up the Lake in 1982. I well remember the smell of the dredged material being laid out on the banks. This was when the skeleton of the horse and part of a cart were found in the lake. They are on display in the Heritage Centre. You can read about the ghost of the lake here.

We would love to know who Richard was so we can ask him if we can display his drawings properly on the site.
