Waiting for the meeting to start
This years AGM was held in the Silver Jubilee. The meeting was well attended by both the public and other organisations.
Chair Joan Liddiard opened the meeting by welcoming everyone, she went on to tell the audience what sort of things we were hoping to do this year. The Treasurer updated us on our latest finances and the Secretary told us about all the things we had been involved with in the previous year.
The Canvey Community Archive has now been online for six years. It has over 2,500 pages, last year we averaged 8,000 visits every month which works out at over 250 hits a day.
Once the formalities were over the Chair opened the meeting to the floor where a good Q & A session ensued.
We would like to thank the Silver Jubilee PH for allowing us to hold the AGM and our other meetings on their premises all free of charge.
Mayor Maryes Iles and TC Chair Doreen Anderson were in attendance.
