The famous casino horse with my younger brother David (circa 59/60)
When we visited the island in 59/60 we stayed for a week in accommodation (chalet/Bungalow) close to Fairview. Standout features for me was the bowl at the bottom of the Helter Skelter, I`m sure the bowl was of highly polished wood and you could watch the riders slide around this when they came to the end of the slide.
The model village was another feature which I remember well. (I was only about 7/8 years old at the time)
