Bill Blissett lent us this fantastic photo of Russian dancers who visited the Island. Bill remembers that the Shoffrens of Tower Radio had arranged the visit and that they came on the Russian ship the Baltika which was docked in Tilbury.
Does anyone remember the visit? Not sure of the year but was it the same time that Gorbachov visited the island?

Norman was an apprentice at Marine Garage when Bob Craske and I worked there, which would have been about 1966/7, so I reckon that the photo was taken about 1956/7.
