One of very few photos we have come across of the Wild Mouse ride. This photo was taken late 1950s/60s and is part of the Day family photos.

My Uncle Fred used to look after the Wild Mouse and I used to ride it non stop until he’d finished work. Can’t remember how old I was, probably about 10.

Not surprised at that Sparrow! I was living in Atherstone and doing night-work in the Bakery just imagine what it was like trying to get some sleep on a hot summer afternoon.
