This picture of CP Labour Councillors celebrating their success in the local elections at a social on Canvey in 1973. Can anyone name them. It is before my time, although a couple of them do look familiar.

Hi The chap in the front row without glasses is George Pickett. The lady to his left is I think Dot Shaw [anti refinery campaigner] The man at the back to our extreme right may be George Blackwell. Regards Sparrow

Left to Right (Back Row) Tony Hurd; Me (Tony Wright); John Collisson; Jeff Lewis; Derek Kennedy; George Prince. L to R (Front Row) Maurice Luker; Evelyn Luker; George Picket and Dot Shaw. I attended the Social. The other nine were our successful candidates elected as Councillors.
