The Lobster Smack

During the 1930s/40s

This is a great Postcard of the Lobster Smack going by the clothes I would say dating from the 1930's/40s
I have zoomed in so you can see the great details. Could not quite get what it said on the notice board to the left.

  • Our family would have gone to the lobster pot in about 1944/45/46. I was left in the car with a relation who took turns! A weak port and lemon was provided occasionally. I remember statues and arms(?) stores nearby. There were also service men who were friends of my father and very generous. My maternal grand parents (Drew) lived in canvey but were forced out by the floods.
