• haha. Every time i see that pool i’m reminded of those terrible woolen swimming trunks, that everyone wore once, and never again. Looks like Joan Bishop (as was) in the latest picture. We were in the same year at school. Also looks like Ray Howard partially hidden, who was a bit older than me, and still is i suppose.

• How wonderful to see this lovely old pool restored. my first bathing consume was maybe out of wool twin set made into a bikini two piece , it was blue and bound in white tape ,mum did a wonderful job of I was about 12 1950’s time she cut the arms out of the jumper turned up the other way became the pants ( crouch sewn in of course ) . my brother David and I played for hours in that pool, his trunks were home made as well
