This is a black and white photo of a painting done by Vera Kemp of Southwick Farm aka Tree Farm. The painting was awarded 1st prize in a painting competition held at The War Memorial Hall. Date unknown. This picture appeared in The Bulletin in 1986 complements of Aubrey Stevens.

This was the house l was born in 1954, in the down stairs room which had sloping floors, the painter ask my mother could she sit at the end of the path to paint this picture, l have yet to see the picture of which Vera Kemp said she would do a copy for my mother, sadly it was never done, so new years resolution for 2012 is to see this painting
