The photo of the Common Blue butterfly is absolutely mesmerizing, probably the best wildlife image I've seen. Perhaps it could be used as the emblem for the campaign against the suggested flooding of this valuable nature reserve.

I saw in the summer 2009 shocking pink butterflies they had black bodies over the fields near cornialus school i tried to find out about them but could find nothing about them, can anyone help

Stunning photos. And great news about Canvey Wick. Remarkable how wildlife flourishes in seemingly unexpected places. Lets hope they are left in peace for many years to come.
