my dad helped to build the seawall but i think it was after the 53 flood roy hawkins he lived at leigh beck farm in a caravan until i was born in 1960 then he brought our bungalow in hawkesbury road as the caravan was not big enough for 4 people.

i think the man on the back row at the far left is my uncle who was known as sonny day. Real name Arthur day.
