Havoc in Small gains Creek by a high spring tide well over prediction and helped by a strong North wind. Unfortunately the slides were not dated but believe it could be around 1975, as the mooring jetties have not yet been erected on the north side of the creek.

These are great - Love the 1953 Sea Wall, especially in the shot of Smallgains Creek Dam.

Great photographs Ian, we were going to move our houseboat to a new berth a Pitsea after the floods but because they damed the creek without giving us warning we were left high and dry. I am glad in a way because I have had a great life on Canvey.
