Georgia Garrett a 16 year old Castle View pupil and winner of ‘Canvey’s Got Talent 2009, sang Dame Vera Lynn’s ‘Now is The Hour’ at the service for Armed Forces Day at the Paddocks.
The Town Council have produced copies of Georgia’s CD to raise money in Aid of the Armed Forces. Copies can be obtained from the Town Council Office in the High Street.

I have just listened to Ian Wyatt’s breakfast show and heared your local start Georgia Garrett singing the Vera Lynn’s song – Now is the Hour – Absolutely fantastic – I want to buy a cd please contact me so that I can purchase a copy – what a mature voice for such a young singer – all our family agree she is a star of the future – we wish her the very best and hope that Simon Cowell was listening
