Another short clip from the Claxton DVD donated by Michael and Lin Swanson. This time it is of the Lobster Smack Inn and taken about 1940. The clip mentions Mr Percy Went whose family have had the licence for 25 years and I know his father, James took over the Inn about 1915-6. It also features Mr A Crow who had ‘been in transport’ for 30 years. There is a page about the Crow family elsewhere on the site.
