Posted in 1907 to Romford by Nellie who was staying at the Union Jack Lodge in Station Road. She says the bungalow belongs to Uncle Will’s cousin. She says the x marks the bungalow and also says ‘the flat windows have been taken away and bay windows put in’. She says ‘the view is taken from the pier which is a very dilapidated wooden structure’. ‘All the bungalows have a balcony from there you can over the seawall and see the boats on the river’.
