The original Canvey Flag

This is a picture of the original Canvey Flag. The Coat of Arms was  first granted to Canvey’s Urban Council in 1971.

June Graham tells me she thinks the picture was taken pre 1976, when the community was behind the efforts to save St Katherines from being demolished.

Or was it presented to the Heritage Centre later for save keeping? Can anyone tell us or can you tell us where the flag is now.
