'The Night Spots' c1949

My dad’s band ‘The Night Spots’ c1949. Piano – Alan Hudson, Alto Sax – Danny Short.

I have referred to this great band in several comments on the Archive but never have I seen a response by anyone having known or heard of them! That saddens me somewhat, however, that’s how it goes. Incidentally, the Night Spots grew to be a 7 piece band especially when they played at the Bay Country Club and the Casino ballroom!
