  • This is wonderful. So many names I remember from my childhood. I was amazed to see Capt.Templeman was Secretary of the Darts League. He and his wife lived on the other side of Wamburg Road, where I grew up. My mother told me that he was in charge of German prisoners during WW2 and they presented him with an engraved cigarette case for being so fair. I didn’t even know he played darts. He didn’t seem the type. I’ve always wanted to know more about him.
