Storm Brendon hits Canvey

Julie Walton was in the Labworth when the worst of the storm hit. She took these photos before they exited via the restaurant upstairs.

The walkway was completely awash and the spray was hitting the windows, the sea was very high. That walkway is higher than the seawalls that were in place in 1953.
