4 - Latest from the field under threat

Work has started in the field between the Dutch Village and Northwick School. What is supposed to be trench digging for Archaeological remains. This is usually done before development of a site and in this case there is a Scheduled Monument nearby.

Roman saltern 260m south east of Great Russell Head Farm, Canvey Island.
