Hadleigh Camera Group at the Transport Museum.

A group of photography enthusiasts arrived at the Canvey Transport Museum on a sunny June morning. They spent a good couple of hours having a wander around the building after a brief introduction to the museum’s history and then enjoyed a feast of photography. At the end of the session they gathered to have a well earned rest with some light refreshments. They were very complimentary about the museum and thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Quite a few of the club members said they were so impressed that they’re going to bring their grandchildren to visit on one of the museum’s open days. After generously dropping donations into the museum collection box they departed to have lunch at the Lobster Smack Inn. All in all, a very successful visit.

  • Thanks Janet I have just seen these lovely photos . We were made most welcome and enjoyed being let loose amongst all those interesting vehicles. Some of our images will be entered into a Digital Photographic Competition at our AGM. Thanks to all the volunteers who answered questions and even posed for our benefit.
