Images Youth Centre

Closes for good

Images Youth Centre was in the old Post Office building in Furtherwick Road. The centre was funded by the Princes Trust and Prince Charles made a visit to the centre to officially open it in 1997.

It was a centre run by volunteers for Canvey youth ages 9-19 and open at different hours for five days a week. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the centre has had to close for good last month with no alternative venue in sight.
