Cranes for London Gateway Port. Part 1.
In 2013 the cranes, which now are busy at work at London Gateway, had been brought from China where they’d been built. They were transported on specially adapted ex-oil tankers travelling via the Cape of Good Hope and arriving in 2 batches on October and December. The passengers on the Waverley got an extra good view as they steamed by to the south of the crane transporter.
