Andrea Kitts nee Lloyd was pick as one of the 1991 Carnival Princesses.
There was a party at the Paddocks where the carnival association invited carnival courts from all over Essex.
At the party the Carnival Queen Samantha Butcher, Andrea and the other Princess Karen Woodberry were crowned by Canvey builder Roger Thipthorpe and following tradition Suzanne Knox 1990 Carnival Queen was Deputy Queen.

It was my 18th birthday the day we all got crowned, 8th March 1991
This is Samantha Carnival Queen of 1991, all I really remember about our crowning ceremony was that the crown was sooo heavy as it was a replica of the Queens, funny how my married name is Windsor. Hope to catch up with you all on 6th August, TTFN xx
