The Queens and Princesses were gathered together in the Paddocks for one last time in January before the last Carnival (thought at that time to be the last ever carnival) on the 15 January 2000.

I found all those queens and Princesses for the 2000 Carnival. I am trying to organise a get together for this years Carnival on 13th July, so if any of you ladies still have the Saches My friend and I made for the last one and want to take part again this year, please contact me. I still have the girls details from last time, but they are probably out of date, so if you haven’t moved since, you may get a call from me.
Hi Shirley, I have my sash from then, didn’t like to part with it! I have some great memories from my year in carnival and often look at the photo’s. Don’t know how to contact you; I will let my friend Val know as she was a princess years ago.
I can remember this day. Think my sash may be in the loft somewhere as I have married, had a daughter and moved 3 times since then!
