I lived there and knew Pam and Rosalie… The 5 used to run Shoebury to Benfleet Station, then to Canvey Leigh Beck… There had been times when the route was in danger of being taken away, so may have been related to saving it… Its now served be the 21. The picture is Eversley Road, on the New Thundersley Estate.
