Willalla Hse was obviously named after Mrs Manthorpe’s large bungalow as it was sited in what was the end of the it’s garden. It would be interesting to find out where the name originally came from. Sounds like something from the Southern Hemisphere. I think I’ll start digging!

I have added the old house into the Willalla House category Graham. I can tell you where the name came from. The original owners were William and Alice Manthorpe. Alice seems to have been known as Lalla so Willalla.
