I believe this to be the repair and reinforcement work to the old bridge in 1966-7 . By that time we had been backward and forward over that bridge every school holiday including Christmas and weekends . We arrived Friday evening left Sunday evening so no workman seen from the bus then but the works was certainly in place before the start of Charfleets Estate .
