My relations Laura Elizabeth nee Prosser and her husband George Edwin Edwards married in 1912 in London moved to Canvey Island. George was injured in left leg in WWI, gunshot wound, awarded the European Star. This photo taken in 1939 on Canvey Island must have been outside their property. Number on chalet was 17. Not George in photo. They had three children two boys born during ww2.
Are there any of their family living on Canvey now I wonder, or maybe buried there.
