I think that the burnt out shop was called ‘Just ye Jobbe’

Just to add to my previous comment, after the fire the shop moved further up next door to what is now the Mobility shop.

In the top photo the newsagents is “R & E Newsagents” (Roy & Eunice). Roy sold it in 1988 when it became “News For You”. Also (just) visible is the round blue and white sign of “The Leeds Building Society”.
The burnt-out shop in the middle photo was initially owned by a guy called Bob. I’m pretty certain that during his time there, there was no name above the shop – it was referred to as “Bob’s Knockout” by me and my colleagues. I think Bob sold it on, after which it may have been named “Just ye Yobbe”
