Found this photo while have a sort out. Third from the right is my uncle James Knox with my aunt Matilda Knox, next to them is my granddad James Williams with my Nan Louisa Williams

The second man from the left, wearing a cap, is my grandfather, James (Jack) Banaghen. When he first came to Canvey in the twenties he and my nan ran Clarks Stores in the parade of shops on the left before the Jellicoe. It’s a lovely photo so many thanks to Rita Roberts for posting it.
