Street Party in Smallgains Close

This street party was held 1960 to celebrate the marriage of Princess Margaret to Anthony Armstrong-Jones. 

The party was in Smallgains Close (now Gains Close). At the back of the photo you can see the seawall surrounding Smallgains creek before this section was taken down following the damning of the creek.
