This postcard shows the original place of the Welcome Hut which was near the seawall directly south of Furtherwick Road. At this time there was a footpath across what we know as Labworth Park a continuation of Furtherwick Road which was then unmade. You can see Labworth Farm and the distinctive trees by Furtherwick farm in the distance.
