William was born in 1902 in Norwich, Norfolk to Benjamin and Anna Money. When he came to Canvey we do not know he is not in the 1929 Electoral Register. He married his wife Nancy Cook on Canvey at St Katherine’s Church on the 4th November 1934. At that time William stated he lived at ‘Avalon’, Lottem Road and Nancy lived in Runnymead Rd and her father John Cook was stated as being a Warrent Officer. William died in January of 1941 and is buried in St Katherine’s Churchyard.
