  • As a team on the beach we had nowhere safe to put our belongings, or store equipment, the council arranged for this hut to be set up now that we had a working group of lifesaver our belongings and equipment would be safer. It made a lot of difference to us all. Especially as I had my small child’s push chair stolen from the beach while on duty. Without enough money to buy another one it made life very difficult for a while. I did mention in the press was it worth while doing a voluntary job as we were doing just to have a theft like this happen.  It was never returned

Thankfully one of our members was able to help me out with a replacement. Plus I stayed a member Of the team.
