Thanks Annette- brings back memories! I’m afraid that I can’t remember what we’d won either! I’m guessing that the 7th member of our team was taking the photo though.
Just came across this. Annette and Karen, I played with you both in the Westcliff High netball team in the early 70s. Hope you remember me, where are you both now? Xx
Hi Sonia, yes I do remember you – you and Karen were our shooters as I remember! I have been working in Norfolk as a graphic journalist for the past 26 years on the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News. I worked in London in a design studio after leaving school but continued to play netball for the then GLC. Moved to Hornsey and played for their local team, then moved to Norfolk and played in the Norwich league up until about four years ago. As I remember, you were training to be an architect – is that right? How are you doing? Lovely to hear from you! Xx
