My mum and dad are under the left hand exit sign, Bonnie Shelley, And Don Pease, my nan Betty Shelley is next but one to the right of them and my aunt Glenys Shelley is seated 2nd from the left back of the tables, i think my grandad Bert Shelley is stood far right with his hand on the lady next to him, i will have a closer look to see if i recognise anyone else.

‘Eggy’ Everett sixth from left 2nd row , in a straight line above him is his Dad(left of exit sign), he was a conductor. Next to ‘Eggy’ is Billy Windsor, his Dad Bill was the Inspector and they lived in the flat above. I think Mrs Windsor is 4th from left in the back row close to the r/hand exit sign. Jean Dawkins( Leigh Beck school secretary) is fourth from left standing behind the children on the r/hand side of the photo, can’t spot him but her husband was a conductor!

The event was a party held in Leigh Beck School for bus personnel and their families.
