In 1989 Canvey carnival week started with a Panto starring the Georgette Juveniles assisted by the carnival Princesses Michele Lines and Sarah Barclay. The Carnival Queen Paula Fiddy was late getting back from London.
The panto was followed by a toddlers show and a baby show the next day. The carnival parade was on the following Saturday from the Goldmine.

I remember this day. My daughter, Paula Fiddy, worked in London and there was a problem on the train. She got told off for not being there 🙂 Happy days
